Mr. and Mrs. Mintert

June 25, 2017

A year ago I met Luke and Samantha and since then my life will never be the same. First off, Samantha is such a ball of energy, she is extremely kind, thoughtful and loving. And Luke, well one he is completely smitten with Samantha and he is such a fun guy and really compliments how sweet Samantha is because he is equally as sweet! The first thing that we bonded on was our love of Harry Potter and we both geeked talking about it and after that we just became good friends fast. I had been looking forward to their wedding SO much and when that day came I was eager and so ready to start shooting.

The day didn't disappoint. It was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, dancing, zoo animals, and just down right fun! I have been very stoked to show this to you so I am going to stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves!

From the Bride and Groom:

What was the funniest part of you day?

Luke: When Jenee asked the bridal party to act like they are talking and laugh so one of the groomsmen decided to yell obscenities to get the laughs rolling

Sam: When Luke started talking to me during our ceremony about the boudoir photo shoot Jenee took for me and how sexy I looked then I realized our videographers were recording ever word we said!

One thing you will not forget?

Luke: How beautiful Sam looked when the doors opened in the chapel and I saw her for the first time.

Sam: The way we continued to look at each other during our ceremony. In that moment I could tell I made the greatest decision in my life. He had the largest smile on his face every time I looked at him! We couldn't stop talking to each other (which is probably frowned upon(, but we were both so excited and giddy we couldn't help bu want to talk and look at each other constantly.

Advice for future couples?

Luke: Enjoy every second of the day because it goes by SO quickly.

Sam: Make sure to take second and stop, look around, look at your groom, family, friends, and event. It is a day you most likely took the time to plan, but it goes by so quickly! Do not feel bad for crying the next day because it is over (because I did)!
